Registration forms for the 20th Annual Ancient City Game Fish Challenge are available online for the Kingfish Division. Early entry fees have been extended to May 31st. Register now and SAVE!!!!!!
Next General Meeting:
Due to the Ancient
City Game Fish Challenge (July 10th thru 12th) there is no General Meeting
scheduled for July. Our next General Meeting will be August 18th. The Board of
Director’s meetings are listed on the address page of this newsletter.
Members are welcomed to the Board meeting.
Month’s Meeting was the annual year-end awards
and membership dinner, approximately 200 attended. Included were 58 renewed
memberships and 11 new members! There are quite a few members that have
not renewed. If you are one please renew soon.
There were 38 Individual and 2 Boat Awards presented. A complete list of
awards is listed on the Web-site. Congratulations
to all winners.
Dinner was cook your own Sirloin Steak with all the trimmings. Thanks
to all who brought the great appetizers and desserts. Many thanks to all of the volunteers who planned, bought
the food, prepared the sides, decorated the Shrine Club, set up the kitchen,
cleaned-up, did all the paperwork, plaques and the trophies, and made sure all
of us enjoyed the party. It was a great event! If you missed it - shame
on you. :<(
After several names were drawn and they were not present, the Stephen Strickland Family won the
$200 Membership Drawing.
Congratulations!!! The drawing will be $100 at the August meeting. It
pays to attend the meetings. You must be present to win!

ACGFA Secretary: Joyce Luker has volunteered to fill the vacant ACGFA Secretary
position. This is a very important position on our Board of Directors and we
are very happy to have her help. Thanks Joyce
Congratulations to Luke George. Luke caught inshore, and offshore
fish including a 11.75 lb Kingfish, 3 Pompey Drum 10.0, 8.4, & 5.8
lbs; 2 Whiting 1.2 &1.0 lbs, and released a Sailfish for a total of 950
points. In addition, he now leads both the Inshore and Offshore Junior Angler-of-the-Year
categories. Great job Luke.
There were 53 entry cards from 27 anglers this month. There were 12 species of
fish entered. Complete list is attached. Catches include cards received from
May 27th thru June 26th. Cards received
after June 26th will count for the July Angler-of-the-Month.

The “Login” is available at the very bottom of the Home Page OR click on “Members Only” then on one of the selections shown, i.e. “Fish Card Entry”. The “User Log In” will come up, then Click “Register” enter your information and establish your password. That’s it.
NOTE: Fishing Year 2014/2015 ends April 30th and Fishing Year 2015/2016 starts May 1st
